Over the\u00a0past few years,\u00a0the eco-industry sector has<\/a>\u00a0become more and more popular.\u00a0At the same time, the awareness of the population also grew.\u00a0During this time, some countries have managed to achieve incredible success.\u00a0Take, for example, the EU leader in this segment, Germany, where huge areas of hectares have been allocated for the construction of farms to obtain renewable energy (solar energy, energy from wind, biogas, hydropower).\u00a0At the same time, other countries in the European Union continue to receive their electricity mainly from coal.\u00a0However, new laws and EU requirements from member states leave no chance for future growth in fossil energy production.<\/p>\n

Renewable energy has become the main source of electricity in the EU in 2020<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Despite the crisis and a decrease in electricity demand in 2020, associated primarily with the coronavirus pandemic, the 27 EU countries for the first time received more electricity from renewable sources (38%) than from fossil resources (37%).\u00a0This has been achieved thanks to the rapid growth of wind and solar energy.\u00a0In 2020, they accounted for almost a fifth of all electricity in the EU.\u00a0The hydropower industry has remained at the same level.\u00a0Bioenergy has stalled in the face of the pandemic, but an impressive leap forward is also planned from 2021.<\/p>\n

The example of Germany clearly shows how successfully it is possible to replace black energy with green energy.\u00a0By the way, Germany plans to completely switch to the production of electricity exclusively from renewable sources by 2040.\u00a0Poland still has a long way to go.\u00a0At the same time, this speaks of the enormous potential of the country.\u00a0And it makes it attractive for local and foreign investors.\u00a0Here, as they say, the field is not mown for the development of renewable energy sources.<\/p>\n
